Oren Elias
Oren founded Correlsense with Lanir Shacham, Correlsense CTO, in 2005 and has over 16 years of experience in the software industry. In 1997 he founded Internative Solutions, a provider of knowledge management solutions for contact centers, which was sold in 2004. Prior to founding Internative Solutions, he was an IT expert for Vocaltec Communications. Earlier, while serving in the Army, he developed knowledge management systems. Oren studied Economics and Computer Science at Bar Ilan University. He founded Correlsense with the idea that in order to solve, rather than detect, the IT bottleneck problem, data collected from the IT infrastructure must be correlated and analyzed into meaningful context. In his free time, Oren likes to go scuba diving.
Lanir Shacham
Lanir Shacham
Lanir brings over 17 years of experience in the software industry. Prior to founding Correlsense, he was an IT Architect for the IBM Global Technology Unit, consulting on technical assessments, technical integration roadmaps, pre-sales and promotion of IBM middleware in the Israeli high tech community. Earlier in his career, he served as a Chief Architect and R&D manager for Indocs Online, a start-up that developed a unique service for the pre-print industry. Before this, he led the development of knowledge management systems. Lanir is a graduate of the MAMRAM IDF computer academy and holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a master’s degree in Physics from Bar Ilan University. He has lectured on entrepreneurship at the Hebrew University. When not flying for business, he likes to surf and participate in triathlons.
Elad Katav
Elad Katav
As Chief Operations Officer, Elad is responsible for all aspects of customer support and product delivery. He has over 15 years of experience in the IT industry specializing in software deployment and customer service. Prior to joining Correlsense, Elad served as Vice President of Delivery for Veracity, a provider of professional services and an Oracle value added distributor. At Veracity, he managed the professional services groups of a wide variety of infrastructure specialties including databases and business intelligence. Previously, while serving as an officer in the IDF Intelligence Corps, Elad held the positions of R&D group manager and IT manager. Elad holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from The Academic College of Tel Aviv – Yafo and an MBA from The Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya. He also lectures on "Inventive Thinking in the Technology Environment" at Ono Academic College and other educational institutions. In his spare time, Elad likes to play the guitar and read tech blogs.
John David Reuben
John David Reuben
Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales
John manages worldwide sales for Correlsense. He has more than 20 years of sales, operations and management experience at global software and technology companies offering enterprise solutions. Prior to joining Correlsense, he was Vice President of Sales for Prolify, a business process management software developer. He was also the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Kintana, a provider of IT governance software, helping to grow that company from zero to $24 million in less than three years. He was also a worldwide sales director at Oracle Corporation and founded one of their first application regions. John also held sales and sales management positions at Andersen Consulting, iSpheres, and System Software Associates. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts.
In 2004, John founded Saving Teens In Crisis Collaborative, a non-profit organization that helps troubled teens and their families struggling with substance abuse and other emotional issues. John manages this as a volunteer.
Nir Livni
Nir Livni
Nir brings more than 17 years of experience in the software industry. Prior to joining Correlsense, he was the product manager at Cyber-Ark Software, responsible for the product management and marketing of a product line in the B2B integration market. Prior to this, he was an R&D group manager at Cyber-Ark. Earlier, while serving in the IDF, Nir held a key position in architecting the infrastructure and leading the development team of a flagship project. Nir is a graduate of the MAMRAM IDF computer academy and holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Computer Science from Bar Ilan University. He graduated magna cum laude with an MBA from Tel Aviv University.
Alon Bar-Lev
Alon Bar-Lev
Vice President of R&D
Alon brings over 20 years of professional experience in complex technology environments. Prior to joining Correlsense, Alon served as vice president of R&D at Xor Systems where he managed the development of a wide variety of projects including networking and connectivity, IT and telecom management, and security. Alon is a graduate of the MAMRAM IDF computer academy and the MLP program of the Technion Institute for Management and participates in the open source community.
Frank Days
Frank Days
Frank leads the marketing team at Correlsense. He spent the last 10 years as a marketing vice president for a series of technology firms including Novell, Experian-QAS and Ipswitch. His formal education includes an MBA from the MIT-Sloan School of Management and a BA from Bowdoin College.
Gary Leibowitz
Gary Leibowitz
Gary is a technology executive with extensive and diversified international experience in high-tech marketing, sales, business development, P&L and general management. At Correlsense, Gary focuses on building a dynamic partner alliance program that includes both technology and reseller partner companies. He has worked for large enterprise vendors and startups in the US, Europe and Israel, including New Dimension Software, BMC Software, and Panda Security. Gary has a strong track record working with the enterprise and security software industry analyst groups.
Maya Eyal
Maya Eyal
Maya has more than a decade of experience in accounting, financial and administrative management. For over five years she served as financial advisor at several start-up companies. Prior to this, Maya was a manager in an audit team in one of the leading hi-tech departments at Ernst & Young. Her main area of expertise is US GAAP, specializing in software and semi-conductor companies in Israel and in the United States. Maya is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.B. in Accounting & Business Administration and an MBA with a specialization in Accounting and Finance from the Israeli College of Management.
