In the past 5 years, Correlsense has rapidly grown since our early days when Lanir and I were called upon to solve the most difficult IT problems. Often we walked into war room situations to find a problem that had no owner, like issues occurring between the Oracle database and the IBM app server or between the network and the browser, and the only answer was to collect more data. After all, with more data comes an answer, right? Yet we learned quickly the importance of correlating the data into meaningful context. Having the information that a crash was about to occur meant nothing if we couldn’t help customers isolate the problem to a particular transaction. So we built SharePath to help companies understand, track and analyze every transaction in a high-volume production environment, and by overlaying many millions of transactions, we create transaction profiles and application models for faster problem resolution.
As a result of our ongoing work with customers and partners, I’m happy to say that Correlsense has made many strides since our company origin and we have listened. The data we collect helps deliver better IT reliability in a number of ways including capacity planning, benchmarking for data center migration and mitigating the risks of new service rollouts. Additionally, we established corporate headquarters in the Boston area, an R&D center in Israel, a UK office and aligned with key partners to give us a larger footprint in targeted areas.
In addition, we are offering all enterprises a chance to try a basic edition of SharePath at no cost. For companies looking for a real user monitoring solution, this freemium edition provides a complete end-to-end view from browser rendering time to network time to overall data center processing time. It is a free, enterprise-grade solution with a perpetual license. Check it out here.
Finally, as you can see, we launched a new and improved website that makes it easier to get the information you need — jump from the tag cloud on the homepage to information based on your business need, industry, or from by job responsibility. We think you’ll find our new website more user friendly, more informative and more useful as you research transaction management and what SharePath can do for your business. Take a look around.
What do you think of the new look and feel of the site? What else would you like to see? Send us feedback and we’ll be happy to talk with you about your opinions or your technology needs.
