Operational siloes are impacting the effectiveness of cloud applications according to recent survey data. According to the report, the majority of businesses have not successfully their cloud applications across business functions. This phenomenon speak to the need for a sound cloud rollout strategy. Application performance management plays a vital roll here by ensure critical applications are experencing acceptable performance before, during, and after migrating to the cloud. It will be interesting to see where these organizations go from here.

More than half (54 percent) of businesses stated that their department has experienced staff downtime over the past six months due to cloud application integration problems, with departments not even using cloud applications among those affected. A further 54 percent said project deadlines had been missed in the past six months due to similar problems around the lack of application integration.
