A new survey reports that IT and business stakeholders may be aligned more than ever. This is great news for IT performance. However, challenges still exist: 76% of those surveyed claimed that applications are rolled out without IT’s knowledge, additionally 38% of brought into the planning process a day before or even during an application rollout. Couple this disconnection with a growing increase in application complexity and IT performance is by no means guaranteed moving forward.
Applications and user expectations are becoming more complex: almost three-fourths of IT participants (71 percent) reported that IT is deploying more applications today than one year ago.
